Former Hewlett-Packard executive Dennis McGinn saw dealers still using whiteboards and sticky notes to track recon, with no real way to measure time or hold people accountable. In 2010 he launched Rapid Recon, the first reconditioning workflow tool for dealers, giving teams one place to track every used car from acquisition to the front line and starting what became the modern time-to-line recon movement.
