Aletha’s Legacy was founded to give under-privileged children in Liberia and Africa hope and a chance to have a better education. Their primary objective is to create a better learning environment for these vulnerable and fragile children. One aspect of their mission is to renovate the entire school and update the facility. Their secondary objective is to provide some stipend for the teachers after all renovations and upgrades are completed.

Desire Street Ministries originated in 1990 in the Desire neighborhood of New Orleans, Louisiana. There, among the “projects” built on a landfill, a Bible Study led to a vibrant after-school and summer youth outreach, a junior/senior high school for two-hundred young men, a church, a pediatric clinic, and other community development endeavors—with plans to replicate that model in other neighborhoods across the nation.

Dedicated to two major goals: First and foremost is to educate their student-athletes. They provide scholarship funding to pay the academic costs for their scholarship athletes, providing them with one of the finest educations available anywhere.
